FIRE, BLOOD, AND ANGUISH
fire, blood, and anguish (or fba) is my revamped an inspector calls. the entire plot is the same as the original.
basically, i took a look at a bunch of minor characters who are mentioned for, like, one second in aic, and decided that i wanted to expand the universe entirely because i love them. ie. fba is literally just aic except not just the birlings.
the first part, fire, is focused half on the main plot with goole and the birlings, half on a group of people in the palace bar. as far as the birlings go, nothing changes. in the palace bar, the story's being told as an old folk tale and the reactions of the people in the bar basically mirror the birlings. there's more but that's essentially the basics so yknow
the second part, blood, is focused on finchley, a governor, bartender, and wine importer who doesn't get paid enough. it's basically focused on the scandals and shit of all the "respectable" people and it's just a series of snippets of events before and after the play, mainly from his pov.
the final part, anguish, is focused on ms francis, a worker at the clothes shop milwards. it revolves around the events leading up to eva's suicide, and ms francis trying and failing to take care of her because both of them have the worst luck, apparently.
